Handwoven in Puno, Peru, near the shores of Lake Titicaca, this one-of-a-kind rug carries generations of Andean craftsmanship within its fibres.
Created using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations, each rug is woven from sheep and alpaca wool and coloured using natural dyes. Taking up to four weeks to complete by hand, every piece tells the story of the artisan who made it.
The diamond motifs woven throughout are known as Puma Eyes, inspired by the watchful gaze of the puma (Andean mountain lion) a powerful symbol of protection, strength and resilience in Andean culture.
Rich in vibrant reds, berry pinks and earthy tones, this textile reflects the colours and traditions of the Peruvian highlands. No two rugs are ever exactly alike, with subtle variations in colour, texture and design making each piece uniquely its own.
A special piece handcrafted to bring warmth, colour and a connection to Peru's rich weaving traditions into your home.
