ANDES RUG

Handwoven in Puno, Peru, near the shores of Lake Titicaca, this one-of-a-kind rug carries generations of Andean craftsmanship within its fibres.

Created using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations, each rug is woven from sheep and alpaca wool and coloured using natural dyes. Taking up to four weeks to complete by hand, every piece tells the story of the artisan who made it.

The repeating diamond motifs woven throughout the textile have long been used in Andean weaving traditions, symbolising protection, connection and the paths that link family, community and home. Woven in warm terracottas and earthy tones, the pattern creates a beautiful rhythm across the textile, reflecting the landscapes and traditions of the Peruvian highlands.
